Easter Weekend Winners
Fun golf and Roll-ups
Good Friday Roll-up

This week there were 39 players, if not an all time record certainly the most for several years.
The winner was Mark Carpenter with 40 points followed by Gary Lowrey with 39 and serial leader board member, Mark Jevons, with 38. We hope they haven't all peaked too soon!.

The Green Keepers’ Revenge

Apparently this event seemed to split opinion amongst the field with a fair amount of complaints about how “impossible” it was. Hats off to Member for Golfing Activities, Grahame Falconer for another great initiative and for those who didn’t enjoy it, maybe just avoid entering anything that has ”Fun” in its description in the future - just a thought!

Many congratulations to winners Phil John & Ed McCaw (feature pic) with a score of 31points. Runners up were Mike Winsor & Robert Glauerdt on 28. Andy Frost & Chris Hartkopf took the bronze with 25.

Easter Sunday Roll-up

We had 28 roll-uppers heading out early on Easter Sunday morning with very cold and breezy conditions to start with.

In 3rd place with 36 points was Michael Hanak - well done Mike. Good to see you back on the podium!

Having been absent for quite some time (fair weather golfer or injury?) Paul Moran has come storming back to form, throwing down his gauntlet with 37 points and cleverly avoiding a handicap cut.

In 1st place with 39 points Mr Jim Whittaker receiving the dosh and a one shot cut as an added bonus.

Many thanks to all who joined, including Captain Ron (probs sussing out opponents before his very busy Sunday schedule of Captain & Pro challenges!

Also thanks go to the 2’s clubs who kindly donated their winnings to the Captains’ charities - Dan Hyde, Stuart Jubb, Charlie Dyos-Hunter.

That’s All Folks!
