Husband and Wife Victorious on VE Day
Rosemary and Jim Woodhouse topped a field of 63 pairs which included a Pro and Captain in this one off 4 Ball Better Ball Competition organised as part of the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe.

63 pairs battled it out in somewhat warmer conditions than earlier this week with some excellent scores being returned throughout the day.

The Competitions Committee would like to thank all that supported this event with £280 paid out in Prize money to the top 7 pairings and a Bottle of Prosecco and £10 vouchers going to the 3 Nearest the Pin winners. Full Result sheet is on the notice board but here are the top 7 and N/P winners.

The Winners will have their names added to a commemorative plaque which will be positioned in Armistice corner in the small bar. The remaining money from the entry fees will go to the Armistice Charity (£60) and £67.50 will be added to the Captains Charity.
