Captain & Lady Captain STEP up to win Charity Day
On Sunday 18th May, we held a Mixed Greensomes event in aid of the STEPS Charity which is the charity the Lady Captain and Captain have chosen to support during their year in office.
The thought of raising money for the charity must have inspired them out on the course as they romped home with 45 points ahead of Cyn Hammond and Graham Rodger with 44 and Liz McCarthy and Sevie Porter with 43 points. On course prizes for longest drives went to Fiona Thomas and Matt Dickson. Nearest the Pin was won by John McGinley and Nearest the Pin in Two was won by Mother and Son team of Deb & WIll Truscott.
Thank you to all who took part. The event raised some £120 raised on the day for the Charity.
