The St Rule Club - Golf Section
Captain’s Day 20th May 2025
We had a perfect day for Captain’s Day on Tuesday 20th May. The warm weather and sunshine brought smiles to the faces of the golfers, who were delighted to replace woolly hats with sun visors and leave behind layers of jumpers and jackets!
The day was very well supported with the re-introduction of ‘the Balgove Bash’ alongside the competition on the Eden Course with approximately 90 ladies playing over the two courses.
The winners were:
Eden Course
Belinda Sprot and Bobbie Ewan, and
Anne Wilson ‘Nearest the pin’ Hole 15
Balgove Course
Margie Logan and Sheila Blair, and
Carole Hughesdon ‘Nearest the pin’ Hole 9, with Glenda Rogerson a close second.
The Catering Team; Amanda, Reiss and Gordon, supported by the House Committee; Jo Bevens and Pauline Farmer, made sure that the golfers were very well looked after in The Clubhouse, with Pimm’s a popular drink of the day.
