Representative Team Results
Team golf is off to a flyer!
With the season well underway, the multiple teams representing Irvine have had a fantastic start to their respective campaigns.
The U16 juniors kicked off a busy May recording a knockout victory against Prestwick St Cuthbert at home.
The U18 juniors are now two wins from two in the league beating Troon Wellbeck 4.5 – 1.5 twice, both home and away.
The U18 Scratch team defeated Bellisle 4-0 at home in the Wallace Thornton Trophy.
The ladies recorded a win in their first Greenlees Division 1 game at home against Barassie – winning 6-3.
The Gents Handicap team defeated Auchenharvie 2-1 in the Presidents Putter knockout. They then recorded an away victory against Barassie in their first league match, winning 4-2.
Finaly the Gents Scratch team opened their season with a 4.5 – 1.5 victory against Largs at home. They take on Royal Troon at home this evening in their 2nd match.
A wonderful start to the season and the whole club wishes all our teams well for their next matches.
