After three wonderful days of outstanding golf at West Sussex GC, the SCLGA County championship final was won in brilliant fashion by Darci Lewis Bradbury who is now County Champion at 15.
What an achievement for her and a huge source of pride for her family and all of us at the Dyke GC who have watched her development over recent years.
Darci not only played superb golf over three gruelling days of 36 holes but demonstrated amazing powers of composure, calmness and concentration beyond her years to complete the treble, winning the best nett, scratch and the match play championship.
It was a joy to watch the competition unfold over the three days. Congratulations to Darci but also to all the competitors, including our own Maddy, Holly and Celine.
Darci, Holly and Maddy have been selected for the Sussex County Senior squad and will take part in County Match week at Mill Hill GC in Middlesex June 23 - 25.
