It was the quarter finals of the Gents Club & Handicap Championships tonight.
Thankfully the conditions were less severe than the last two nights which led to some excellent matches out on course.

John Shanks is still on course to defend his crown where he defeated Tom Loy 2&1.
Jack Thomas took down young gun Mason Chisholm 3&2.
George J Robertson had an emphatic 6&5 victory over Bruce McAulay.
Craig Adams overcame Jim Mackison 4&2

In the Handicap Championship: -
Daniel Dempster continued his fine form with a 3&2 win over top seed Iain Milligan.
David McGuire got the better of Jim Leask, winning 4&3
Tom Craven negotiated his match with Robbie Raeside, taking a 4&3 win.
Finaly, Sandy McLaughlin knocked out last year's finalist Jamie Bryant, 3&2.

All players now have a night off before resuming their campaigns on Friday from 16:30.
