The 40th staging of the St Rule Trophy took place on Saturday 31st May & Sunday 1st June. With 60 of the top amateur women and girls participating, representing 17 nations.
The competitors played two rounds on the New Course on Saturday and one round on the Old Course on Sunday in challenging conditions, mist, wind, rain and sunshine, giving them the full ‘Links Experience’. The weather however, did not detract from their excellent play and upbeat spirits.
Congratulations to:

Our thanks to Janet Winter and Alison Paterson as the lead organisers from St Rule, who worked in conjunction with Greig Dochard and members of his Tournament Team from St Andrews Links, and who managed the team of volunteers from St Rule, to ensure the success of this prestigious tournament. The St Rule volunteers were instantly recognisable in their Lilly jumpers and for their helpfulness around the course.
Our thanks also to Jacqui Trangmar, Simon Stevenson and Lesley Philip for manning The Club on Sunday and to members, including a number of past captains, who came to support the players and have coffee or lunch in The Club.
We have had very positive feedback from players and their families who enjoyed seeing round The Club, hearing about it’s heritage, meeting members and having a break before setting off on long journeys home.
Best wishes
The Golf Committee
