The Fulwell Seniors Open
Yesterday was The Fulwell Seniors Open, a four player stableford comp with best two scoring. A great day was had by all and teams from The Richmond Golf Club claimed silver and bronze medal places.

Roy Wylie’s team of (left to right) David Murray, Peter Slattery, Merv Edward’s and Roy himself finished second

Grahame Falconer’s team was third and comprised (left to right) himself, Paul Robinson, Graham Juber and Chris Legget
Many congrats Gents on beating over 20 teams from clubs throughout Surrey.
Friday Roll-up
There were 28 players in last weeks roll-up. A first time winner was Steve Masters with 43 points with Gareth McLoughlin second on 41. Third place went to Clive Shaw with 37.
Both Steve and Gareth are new members and we assume they were dealt roll-up handicap cuts although no details were available at time of going to press.
Gareth a bit of a dark horse or bandit as he took the Sunday roll-up the week before!!!
Sunday roll-up
The week before last a field of 27 took to the Sunday roll-up.
Only one two and that went to Dorje Soley on the 14th so money back for him.
In third place, on a double count-back (last 6), John Inglis took the honours, from Mike Williams with 37 points, and the £20 prize. The Sunday roll-up serial winner (having already been cut 7 shots this season) Susan Hutchinson took second spot with 38 points (as well as £40 and another 1 shot cut for her efforts!).

The winner with an impressive 40 points (£60 along with a 2 shot cut) was relative newcomer Gareth McLoughlin!
Last Sunday 23 players joined with only a single two again, this week going to new dad John King, who brought his beautiful daughter Poppy down to the club to see him get his money back!
Some high scores with a 38 for Gabriella Campanale not seeing her in the prizes though she did receive a 1 shot cut for her efforts! In third place with 39 points (1 shot cut) was David Hardman. First time roll-upper Robert Glauerdt took second place with 40 points (and to his dismay a 2 shot cut).

Runaway winner this week with 42 points and a 3 shot cut - Doug Baillie. Many congrats Doug!
That’s All Folks!
