Sadly he passed away, having been in a care home for the past 6 weeks, having his 87th birthday there on 9 June.
Richard Brinkman had been a member of South Staffs golf Club for many years, playing off a single figure handicap for most of those earlier years. He was a huge supporter of all the Club's social events over many decades and those who knew him will remember him as a larger-than-life personality, contributing a lot of fun and laughter both on the golf course and in the Club House.
Richard is survived by his wife, Stevie, his 2 sons, Oliver and William and 3 grandchildren.
Richard Brinkman’s funeral will be held at MERCIA FOREST CREMATORIUM, Broad Lane, Essington WV11 2RJ on Thursday, 14 August 2025 at 11.00am and afterwards at South Staffs Golf Club.
