Former club captain of Ashton on mersey golf club Steve Barton presents a Cheque to Nigel Mather Chair of Trustees at Stockdales.
During his year as captain Steve chose local charity to the club, Stockdales, to be his chosen charity during his year in the role.
A dedicated charity bunker, a number of social events held at the club and contributions from all the members resulted in raising a fantastic total of £2000.
Stockdales’ fundraising manager Sarah Maunder commented “ We thank Steve and Ashton on Mersey golf club for their continued support and every single penny goes into helping and supporting local Adults and Children with Learning disabilities ensuring the live full and happy lives."
