Ladies Kyocera Win
Into Final Cornwall Leg
On Sunday 20th July- the Ladies hosted Perranporth in the 4th round of the Kyocera National KO Championships. They followed the popular Jim Barnes Competition, which was well supported by the men.
First result home in good weather with a 2/1 victory was Judy Ryder, closely followed by Pauline Clifton with a draw. The score now being 1 1/2 to West Cornwall. Next to finish was Kim Pellow with a very close loss on the 15th.
However- two more wins by Mandy Dennison and Charlotte Luke gave the West Cornwall team a final win of 3 1/2 - 1 1/2.
West Cornwall now face either St Mellion or the Point in the final round in Cornwall.
A tremendous win for the squad taking them further forward in August.
