JUBILEE TROPHY AND PAR 3 CHALLENGE
The Jubilee Trophy (Major) and Par 3 challenge takes place on Sunday August 3rd, 2025. Booking opens on Sunday 27th July, 2025 at 2100.
This is a mixed competition open to all members with Sunday playing rights. The Par 3 Challenge runs alongside the Jubilee Trophy. Entry is £5.00. If you are in the Jubilee Trophy you are automatically entered into the par 3 challenge unless you enter outside of the reserved tee times of 0730 - 1330 when your entry will be to the Jubilee Trophy only.
There are some great prizes to be won for a Hole-In-One on any of the par 3's including £5,000.00 for an ace on the 8th. Details of each prize available will be displayed on the tee. To maintain the integrity of the competition, please watch the tee shots of the group behind you.
IN ADDITION:
There will be a nearest the pin competition on every par 3.
There will be a 'Beat The Pro' competition on the 8th hole.
This is free to enter and any member who beats the pro in a nearest the pin challenge will receive a share of balls from the Handicap Committee. The exact number of balls that you will receive will depend on how many of you beat the Pro and will be announced once the competition has ended.
The Par 3 Challenge is always very popular and entry is limited to 150 members. If you have a tee and are unable to play on Sunday, please cancel immediately as any no-show prevents another member from taking part.
INVITATION DAY
Invitation day is scheduled for Sunday August 10th 2025 and opened for booking two weeks ago. We are pleased to note that it is now 70% booked.
There will be prizes valued over £1,000.00 to be won together with a nearest the pin competition on all par 3's.
Food and drink will be available on the day so you can further entertain your guests with delicious food from our top caterers.
The format this year is a four man team event with the best two scores to count on the par 4's and 5's and the best three scores to count on the par 3's.
Each team may only contain a maximum of two Lee Park Members. You may bring three guests yourself or you can pair up with another member and bring one guest each to form your team. Please enter via your V1 app. Scroll up the home page until you reach 'Next Bookable Competitions' click on the tee sheet and enter you and your guest(s).
Entry is £12.50 per person and the fee will be deducted from your V1 account. Please ensure that you have adequate funds before booking. A valid CDH number for each guest will be needed when you book.
In line with the announcement to reduce team games during the summer, please note that the 2 person scramble scheduled for 24th August will be replaced by either an individual Stableford or an individual Medal Competition.
The winners of last years Autumn Foursomes Competition have been representing the Club in this years Daily Mail Foursomes which started in March.
We are please to inform you that Lee Fielding and Barrie Lane have now successfully battled through six rounds and have reached the last 32. We wish them continued success.
The Handicap and Competitions Committee wish you all the best of luck in next weeks Par 3 Challenge. We would love to see someone achieve a Hole-In -One and walk away with one of the great prizes on offer.
