Results from Open Texas Scramble
Competition Results
The Balmore Open Texas Scramble was held today in variable weather with the course once again attracting praise from our many visitors and guests. The popularity of the event was demonstrated by 51 teams taking part, with first tee off at 7am and the last one at 4pm.

With a terrific nett score of 46.7 the winners were Balmore members Matt Scott, Alan Muir and Ryan Neilson, joined by Littlehill member Chris McClymont. They win vouchers of £90 each.

Narrowly beaten into second place with a score of 47.2 were William Wilson, David Drennan, Colin McElhinney and Chris Wilson, also from Balmore. They win vouchers of £75 each.

Callum Gracie (Balmore), Alan Sweeney (Balmore), Scott Gibb (Airdrie) and David Black (Airdrie) came third with a score of 49. They win vouchers of £60 each.

Remaining prizewinners as follows:

4th - Knightswood members Chris Malcolm, Robert McConville, Richard Brown & Duncan MacLeod with a score of 50.5 (BIH) - vouchers of £50 each.

5th - David McDade and Cavan Reilly (Balmore) along with Paul McDade (Lenzie), and Michael Cookman (OpenPlay) with a score of 50.5 - vouchers of £40 each.

6th - Michael Welch Snr (Balmore) and Matthew Leach (Crail) along with Littlehill members William Pearson and William Gunn with a score of 50.9 (BIH) - vouchers of £30 each.
