Competition's & Handicap UPDATE (25/14)
Memorial Trophy Saturday 30th August 2025
The origins of this competition is to remember and cherish the memory of those members who are sadly no longer with us. The main trophy was kindly donated by Jane Draycott. If you would like to sponsor a par 3 in memory of someone 'special' with a prize for nearest the pin, please contact the pro shop on 01394 388000.
Booking has now opened on Howdidido. The format will be pairs mixed Greensomes, over 18 holes, Stableford scoring and is not acceptable for handicap. This will be a 'Shotgun' start @ 0900hrs.
Entry fee: £4 each.
Handicap allowance: 0.4 of the highest and 0.6 of the lowest handicap.
Tee: White (Men) and Red (Ladies).
Prizes: Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd pairs.
Closing date for entry is Thursday 28th August @1800hrs
Unless otherwise indicated, all major club competitions require an active WHS Handicap Index on entry. It is required that 54 qualifying competition holes (9 or 18 hole cards - not General Play) must have been played in the preceding 12 months for a player to win or be placed. It is the player's responsibility to check that they meet the entry criteria for competitions before entering.
