Gentlemen,
A few dates for your diary for your action packed August !!
Club Championships Second Round on the 2nd of August.
The booking for this Saturdays Second round will close at 4pm on Thursday the 31st of July.
If you have not booked in please can i remind you to do so.
You must book in for each individual round.
In addition to the second round, the best nett score on the day will win the Marshall and Mathews Memorial Trophy with prize monies.
So still all to play for.
Past Captains vs Captains Team on the 9th of August
This is an annual match with the past Captains playing 4 ball better ball matches against the Captains team followed by a subsidised two course meal on conclusion of the Golf.
Please book in as normal and let Janez know your willingness to participate in the event please.
We will also be running a swindle on the day for all.
August Midweek and August Medal on the 12th and 16th of August respectively.
The David Hollingsworth Memorial on the 23rd of August.
We invite all to take part in the above day.
The format is a 4 person "rumble" with generous prizes for the first place team and the team who will be the "runner up" on the day.
Please let me know of any guest handicaps in advance please on compsec@ccgc.co.uk
Please book in your completed team on hdid or on the booking sheet on the notice board from this Saturday.
If you would like to play and need partners to make up a team of four, please let me know or add your name to the list of "people looking for a team"
August 3 man scramble on the 30th of August
A new event due to the popularity of our scrambles at our club.
Please enter your three man team which MUST include at least one player with an index of 16.0 or above (division 2).
Gents i hope you will be able to join in with your August events and look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
