After a ‘stress free’ build up to the event, Paul Maslen was delighted to welcome 42 seniors to St Pierre in Chepstow for his captain’s day which included an overnight stay as well as two games of golf on the championship course.

Unusually for South Wales, the weather was very kind so shorts and polo shirts were on display in abundance. Reasonably priced drinks served at the bar overlooking the challenging par 3 18th was one of many highlights.

Prizegiving took place on Sunday night after a fabulous buffet meal which all seemed to thoroughly enjoy, judging by the number of empty plates. The picture shown features the winning team being congratulated by Ross Troake.
