Competition Date Change, Mystery 2's and Invitation Day
Dear Member,

Please find below the latest competition news from the Handicap & Competitions Committee.

Reminder of Competition Date Change!

Due to Lee Park hosting The Ladies JNF competition next Tuesday, 5th August, 2025, there will be no Men’s Order of Merit competition on that day. The OOM Stableford 9 Competition due to be held will now take place on Tuesday 2nd September, 2025.

Men’s Invitation Day

This is a team event to be held next Sunday August 10th, 2025. There are limited spaces remaining if you would like to take part. The cost is £12.50 per player and there must be a maximum of two Lee Park Members in each team. Prizes valued at over £1,00.00 are available to win. Please sign up via your V1 app.

Our catering team have advised us that they will be open for food and drink both before and after your round on Invitation Day. There will be a number of specials available for ordering on the day and it would help tremendously if you could order your post-match food before you play.

Ladies Alternative Competition Day Tee Times

Working Ladies please note that due to a ladies exchange day on Tuesday 12th August, there will be no alternative day tee times on Sunday August 10th, 2025. Please also note that the alternative day tee times will be slightly earlier than usual at 1120 & 1130 on Finals Day 7th September, 2025.

Wednesday Mixed 10-Hole Competitions

These competitions will continue to run until Wednesday 27th August 2025.

Finals Day

Finals Day this year will be held on Sunday 7th September, 2025.
For those not involved in the finals we will be running a White Tee Stableford competition with tees available both before and after the finalists play their matches. There will be a one hour buffer before the first final tees off at 1000 and all play ahead of the finals will be in three-balls.

Mystery 2’s Results for July

06/07/25 – Captains Prize Round 1 saw a total of 16 2’s recorded. They mystery hole was Hole 10 where 2’s were scored by Liam James, Bernard Daley, Sean Warren & John Bright, all of whom win a sleeve of 3 Pro V1’s

13/07/25 – Captains Prize Round 2 saw only 8 2’s scored. The Mystery hole was Hole 5 and Kevin Lewis wins 12 Pro V1’s

20/07/25 – The Mixed better-ball competition saw 12 2’s recorded. The mystery hole was Hole 8 where 2 x 2’s were scored. Lee Boon and Gary Mahon win 6 Pro V1’s each.

27/07/25 – July Stableford saw 16 2’s recorded. The mystery hole was Hole 13 where 2’s were scored by Jason Dolman & Curtis Senior who each win 6 x Pro V1’s.

The winners can collect their balls from the office.

Tomorrow’s mixed Jubilee Shield and Par 3 Challenge.

We wish you all the best of luck in tomorrow’s Par 3 challenge and we hope that someone holes an ace and picks up one of the great prizes that we have on offer.

Please help us to uphold the integrity of the competition by watching the tee shots of the group behind you when you play the par 3’s. There will be a NTP competition on all par 3’s
