Summer Knockouts - Doubles and Singles
Chitty & Muir edge the doubles final
Keith Muir & David Chitty reigned supreme in this years Summer Doubles Final against new 2025 WPGC members Andy Toward and Tommy Coomber on Sunday.
Chitty and Muir came out of the blocks hot and were 2up after 4 holes before Toward finally turned up on the 5th hole to half the arrears.
Coomber birdied 9 to level matters only for Muir to find form to take the experienced pair 3up after 14 holes.
With 4 holes to play Toward and Coomber clawed it back to all square by winning 15,16 and 17 but could not carry the momentum down 18 with Chitty making the decisive par in a nip and tuck battle worthy of a final.
