Dave Chitty's WPGC Scratch Team secured a league winning 5.5 - 2.5 home win on Saturday to secure the Division 5 title and gain promotion to Division 4 for 2026!
The result hung in the balance after 9 holes on Saturday but early wins from Byron Greatbatch, Dan Loria and Jamie Maundrell put down a firm foundation.
Steve Pinnock and Dave Chitty battled back on the final 9 to secure victories with Ian Schofield halved his match on 18 to go unbeaten for the season.
