With winter league starting in just over a week, it feels like we are moving into Autumn and Winter at pace.

The new tee on hole 13 looks great, the seed has started to germinate already. A fantastic job by our team on the course. Irrigation will also be added to the 12th green approach which will assist with grass growth around the bunkers and in front of the green.

Val Freed and Pauline Henninger, assisted by Sandra put on a lovely Coffee & Cake morning in aid of Macmillan. Once again raising a fantastic sum of money, just over £500. Val & Pauline would like to thank all members that supported on the day.

We are running a RYDER CUP raffle this weekend, £5 per ticket, winner gets the Titleist Europe Tour Bag worth around £600. Drawn on Sunday evening around 17:00.

The big screen in the clubhouse has attracted a good crowd so far today. Sandra and the team are serving Ryder Cup Themed food all weekend, all priced at £8.95.

Bit of a moan now I'm afraid. Several members are constantly phoning Matt on his personal mobile to arrange tee times, change competition arrangements etc etc. An almost daily occurrence.
