GREENS DRAINAGE
On Thursday 9th October the greens drainage contractor will arrive to install our 3 Hydrowick Drainage systems into the 4th,14th and 15th greens. On the week commencing 6th October our greens teem will start to prepare for this by digging a narrow drainage channel at the front of these 3 greens. Once this has commenced it will be on a temporary green until the drainage work has been completed, We are hoping to have the greens back in play by the following weekend (11th October) now while the drainage work will be fairly fast we will be tackling the bunkers around these 3 greens for this years winter projects, so during the week whilst they are being worked on these greens will be played to the temporary green.
We are excited to deliver these further improvements to our course. The three new greens will be even more playable during winter months and healthier all year round. The new bunkers will continue our redevelopment of sand hazards and ensure the quality of bunker conditions for years to come.
