Secondly, the day raised £404 for the captains’ charities the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance on the day. A big thank you to Paul Burgin for organising the football card at the 19th hole to raise additional funds for the charities, great call Paul. Other thanks go to, Bridget and her team in the Kitchen along with Lewis and Lewis behind the bar, you made it a fabulous day. The ladies working tirelessly in the Halfway House, Karen Allan, Fiona Corr and Lady Captain Lynda Moore. The professional staff for guidance and assistance with organising the golf elements throughout the day. Finally, the band Out of The Storm were fabulous, keeping a number of us outside Dad dancing. Superb, thank you.
The one thing we were unable to control is the weather, it remained dry thankfully however was a little chillier than we have been used to, would be my only gripe. (Anyone with pictures of the band day etc, could you please forward them onto the Captain please)
Thanks again to everyone that contributed to the success of the day.
