Obituary Notice - Phil Burnell

Dear Members,
It is with sadness i must let you know that Phil Burnell has passed away. Phil joined South Staffs in 1999 and was a member for 27 years. He was from Woodford Green and went to Chigwell School and then attended Oxford University obtaining a law degree. Phil played wicket keeper at West Brom/Moseley cricket club and was Managing Director at British Gypsum.
Our deepest condolences to his family.
Funeral details are:
Monday, 22nd December 2025
1.30pm at St Michaels Church
Followed by a reception at the golf club.
