We are thrilled to announce the launch of The Bay Poker Bash, a competitive, season-long poker league running through the winter and spring. This new weekly event is designed to provide excellent social and sporting entertainment for all members.
If you have always wanted to learn poker or simply enjoy the thrill of tournament play, we invite you to join us!
LAUNCH NIGHT & SEASON SCHEDULE
The league will kick off with our first event on a Tuesday, and then continue every week on Wednesday evenings.

Please Note: We will be taking a break for the holidays and will not hold tournaments on Wednesday, 24th December or Wednesday, 31st December. The regular weekly league will run for 15 weeks until late March.
LEAGUE STRUCTURE AND FORMATS
The league is structured to reward both nightly success and long-term consistency:
Nightly Payouts: Every week, players compete for a cash prize pool funded entirely by that night's entry stakes (buy-ins, re-buys, and add-ons).
Varied Formats: We will rotate through exciting tournament formats, including Freezeouts, Re-entry events, and Bounty tournaments, alongside varying buy-in levels to keep the competition fresh and challenging.
The Championship Final: The top six (dependant on amount of player taking part) players on the league leaderboard after the 15 qualifying weeks will advance to The Bay Poker Bash Championship Final in April (TBC over two Wednesday sessions). Their points total being converted into their final table chip count. i.e. 6000 pts = 60000 chips for final table.
THE CHAMPIONSHIP PRIZE POOL FUNDING (COMPLIANCE NOTICE)
To ensure we strictly comply with our legal obligations under the Gambling Act 2005 (The absolute No-Rake Rule), payments are segregated:
Payment Amount Purpose
Nightly Stake Varies (e.g., £20 buy-in) Paid 100% to that night's winners.
Participation Fee £3.00 (Fixed) 100% dedicated to the Championship
The £3.00 Fee is your Contribution to the Final Prize Pool: This fixed £3.00 fee collected each night goes entirely towards the final Championship prize money. If 9 players attend every week for 15 weeks, this will accrue a Championship Final Prize Pool of £405.00!
WHO CAN PLAY?
The league is open to all Members (Full and Social).
Guests are welcome when signed in by a member.
We welcome players of all skill levels! If you know the rules of Texas Hold 'Em, come along and join the fun.
