It is that time of year when we introduce our fairway protection system. Consistent with last year, Neil and the team will mark YELLOW lines in the semi-rough and WHITE lines on the approaches to the greens. The lines have been painted.

Yellow Lines
• Kindly lift your golf balls from the fairways and place them outside the yellow lines. We appreciate your cooperation in avoiding areas that have previously been played from and where divots have not been replaced.
• Please refrain from taking buggies and trolleys outside the yellow lines into the heavier rough and heather.

White Lines
• Buggies and trolleys should not be taken inside the white lines approaching the greens.
• Preferred lies are permitted between the white lines and the greens.

As was the case last year, members may choose to use mats from the fairway rather than moving their ball to the side. We have sourced what we believe to be the highest quality mats currently available, which members may purchase from the shop for £27 each. As an added incentive, each mat purchase comes with a complimentary carry case (valued at £10.50).

Please also note that I have disabled the option for general play scores whilst fairway protection is in place.
