We have just been informed from Edinburgh Leisure about proposed changes to the Bunkers on the Course, once we have your thoughts we will go back for a meeting with E.L. Proposed changes as follows:
Total Re-shape of the Greenside bunkers on the 4th. (We would also like to remove the back left one)


Total Re-shape of the big Bunker before the green on the 6th


Bunkers we would like to remove..



1st hole, 2 bunkers on right before the green
3rd hole, back left Greenside
5th hole, First fairway bunker on the left
5th hole, Bunker in rough on right of hole before the green
6th hole, bunker in left rough
7th hole, bunker second bunker in right rough
9th hole, bunker in left rough
11th hole, last bunker on right before green
13th hole, last bunker (on right) before green
As you can see a couple of these bunkers are rarely in play, but removing all of them will leave the course looking very bland! Also we need re-assurance that any work carried out will be of sufficient standard as most of the previous attempts on bunkers leaves a lot to be desired. We will also point out other bunkers that are in need of some improvement, front left 8th and both new bunkers on 15!
