Here’s what’s happening this week at Helensburgh Golf Club:
Take a Chance on ABBA Night!
The club is saying “Thank You for the Music” as ABBA returns on Saturday, 6th December! They wowed us earlier in the summer, and now they’re back to make you the Dancing Queen (or King!) all over again.• ONLY 6 pairs of TICKETS REMAIN, so don’t miss out!
• Evening highlights:
o Background music from 18:30 in the bar
o Live band later — all the classics!
o Lounge access from 19:30
o Late finish guaranteed — Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! more dancing!
Get your tickets from the bar, £15 per ticket. Please support if you can. It will be a great night!!
Golf
Forecast: Interesting — Advise, dress for everything, and don’t forget your winter mat.
Golf: Frostbite Competition:
• Starts Sunday, 7th December and runs through to the end of February.
• Huge prizes every Sunday for winners.
• Overall competition prizes for the Top 8 players, based on your best 5 Sunday scores.
• £500 Hole in One Pot!
• £3 entry per week — play one or play them all.
What’s Coming Up
HGC Hogmanay Disco: SELLING FAST, ONLY 26 tickets remain, please buy now if you wish to attend this great event. !!
Back for one night only — Wednesday 31st December 7.30pm till late.• Includes a 2-course hot buffet and a glass of prosecco on arrival.
• £37,50 per person.
• Buffet choices: Honey & mustard-glazed ham or Balmoral chicken, both served with roast potatoes and seasonal veg.
• Desserts: Assorted cheesecake or sticky toffee pudding.
• Vegetarian lasagne available on request.
Clubhouse Bar Opening Hours
Here’s what’s planned for this week: Opening hours change weekly with functions, etc.
• Friday: 11am – 10pm (World Cup Draw !!)
• Saturday: 11am – late (ABBA, Leeds vs Liverpool 5.30 pm KO & Kilmarnock vs Rangers 8 pm KO, Sky Sports)
• Sunday: 11am – 7pm (Celtic vs Hearts 3 pm KO, Sky Sports)
• Monday: 11am – ~11pm (Darts team in action; Wolves vs Man Untd 8pm KO)
• Tuesday: 11am – ~6pm
• Wednesday: 11am – 6pm
• Thursday: 11am – 6pm
• Friday: 11am – 10pm
Whether you’re here for golf, a pint, a game of pool, or to throw some darts, the Club is open and ready to welcome you.
