EDGA Algarve Swing
I’m delighted to share that I’ve just competed in my first tournament of 2026 and managed to secure the nett category win at Gramacho Golf Club during the EDGA Algarve Swing.
I finished -2 nett (+3 gross) over one round, which included five gross birdies. Gramacho hosted over 70 players, with 45 competing in the nett category. The tournament was shortened to one round due to severe wet weather, although play was spread across two days. On day one we reached the 13th hole, before returning the following day to complete the round.
I’d like to sincerely thank the golf club and all the members for their continued support. This win would not have been possible without the backing of Druids Heath Golf Club, and I’m extremely grateful for everything they do.
Looking ahead, the next tournament I’m aiming to play is the Scottish Open, held on the Eden Course at St Andrews at the end of April.
