Ian Pettie Gavel Competition

The inaugural Ian Pettie Gavel competition took place on Saturday following the Men's Dinner on Friday night. Thank you to everyone that took part and a huge thank you to Chris Pettie and the Pettie family for their sponsorship of this event.

Congratulations to the winners, Peter Stoneham and Gerard Cashman with 43 points, beating Richard Longhurst and Mark Watson on countback. Matthew Hansford and Barry O'Brien came third with 41 points.

We carried out the auction for the Summer Fourball knockout competition at the Men's Dinner on Friday night. The list of buyers for each pair is attached with today's latest news email. If you haven't purchased yourselves, you can buy up to a half share but you must do this before you play your first match. Contact details for the buyers are on the attachment.

Men's Famous Grouse 4BBB Results

104 men played in the Famous Grouse Fourball Better Ball competition yesterday. Congratulations to Sean Francis and Steve King for winning the competition with 43 points. Lewis Barrett & Harry Isham came second with 42 points, on countback from Anthony Becaus & James Vincent, Ian Stoneham & Peter Stoneham and Don Wadey & Robbie Clear. Ladies Morrice Fours Results

Unfortunately we lost the 1st 2 matches and the last match was called in on the 17th.

It was always going to be a tough ask away at Cowdray! Despite losing everyone enjoyed their matches and the glorious sunshine ??.
