On Monday 16th March 14 ladies from Gorleston attended the Winter League Gala day which was held at Rookery Park the weather was kind to us and all the ladies thoroughly enjoyed the day which was attended by 78 ladies.

On the day there were prizes for nearest the pin, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for the best stableford score.

A huge well done to Paula Ledger & Jenny Watson for winning 1st place with an amazing 35 points.

The Winter League is played over a 2 year period and consists of 6 clubs. They are awarded 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 for a loss. The club with the highest accumulated scores over the 2 year period wins the Winter League shield.

The winners of the Winter League Shield for 2024-2026 was Halesworth, well done to Barbara Dennis and her team.
