Further Update on Gabbie

Gabbie Crowfoot in 2026
History was made this month when Gabbie won the L&RLCGA championships…..the first Longcliffe member to achieve this in 40 years (Mrs E Davis won in 1986)
But it is also the first time ever that a player has held every major Ladies’ and Girls’ county titles at the same time:
The Lytton Trophy (Championship)
The Cathy Stephens Trophy (overall best gross stroke play at the championship)
The Buckingham Cup ( junior nett prize at the championship)
The Junior County Championship Trophy
The Ellis Trophy (lowest gross at the County Scratch Shield) as well as being a member of the winning county shield team from Longcliffe.
Not bad for a 17 year old with a handicap of + 1.9!
Gabbie is off to America in August on a golf scholarship and I know we will all be watching her future with interest. Congratulations Gabbie and good luck. Longcliffe is proud of you.
