Chasing the Sun!
Supporting Marie Curie on the longest day of the year!
What a day! On the longest day of the year, an amazing group of ladies took on a 72-Hole Golf Challenge in support of Marie Curie. Starting at 4:30am with a spectacular sunrise and finishing with the last putt dropping many hours later, the day was filled with determination, laughter, teamwork and incredible support from fellow members, friends and family. Despite the very hot conditions, everyone kept smiling and rising to the challenge. Six ladies completed the full 72 holes, while three additional teams combined their efforts to complete their own 72-hole challenges. Together, everyone achieved something truly remarkable. We're delighted to share that we have raised over £3,000 for Marie Curie so far, helping to provide care and support for people living with terminal illness and their families – and the total is still growing! A huge thank you to everyone who played, caddied, donated, provided refreshments, cheered us on and supported us throughout the day. This achievement would not have been possible without you. Tenterden Golf Club was at its very best – a wonderful display of friendship, community spirit and generosity. Well done, ladies. You should all be incredibly proud.
