Lovely sunny but breezy conditions see 121 take part in latest Kirk Rosebowl. In the Division One competition Corey Bryans took the first spot with a one shot victory over Allan Fleming. Corey going out in 37 and returning in 39 for gross 76 net 69 with a birdies on 4, 6, 16 & 18. Allan was out in 41 before returning in 36 for gross 77 net 70. Card with birdies at holes 10, 15 & 18. Corey won £13.65 for first place in the sweep and as a result of Allan not being entered into the sweep the second place pot of £7.35 was picked up by Ronnie Stuart on a count back. Well played! In Division 2, a tight affair saw Stephen Wilson take top spot in a card play-off with Graeme Smith. Stephen was out in 43 before returning in 37 for gross 80 net 67 helped along with birdies at 15 & 16. Graeme was out in 39 before returning in 38 for 77 gross, net 67 carding birdies at 3, 9 & 11. Stephen won £34.45 for first place and Graeme won £18.55 for second spot. Div. 2 Countback details for 1st place were. Stephen Wilson 67 31 18 10 1st Graeme Smith 67 33 23 12 2nd Division 3, saw Walter Davidson take the win with 95 gross net 67 beating Stephen Burns by a single shot. Stephen seeing off Samuel Jpohnston and Jorgen Vatn on a card play-off. Walter went out in 48 and returned in 47 with 7 net birdies and 2 net eagles. Stephen went out in 44 before returning in 41 with 7 net birdies on his card. Walter won £21.45 for first place in the sweep and Stephen picked up £11.55. Ten players managed to record a birdie on the 15th hole and each take home £8.56 in the 2’s sweep.
