Longcliffe Ladies at Kirby Muxloe

Longcliffe Ladies friendly team played their 1st match of the season at Kirby Muxloe in perfect weather on a course in great condition.
The ethos of the friendly team is to enable players of any handicap and especially newer players the opportunity to play with different players at different clubs in a less competitive environment.
Whilst our team lost 3-1, our opposition were very friendly and helpful regarding course layout. The highlight of the day was that that Sandra from Kirby and Lisa from Longcliffe played their first match against another club, and Lisa played a different course for the first time!
The team for the day were: Sharon Scottorn, Terri Wills, Sylvia Armson, Lisa Jackson, Helga Morley, Kathy Seal, Sue Beswick and Janette Watson.
