Bandits Secure Victory at Ninth Annual Cops v Bandits Golf Match
Ghyll Golf Club played host to a great day of sport and camaraderie on Thursday, 13 August, for the ninth annual Cops v Bandits golf match.
36 competitors took part in the annual match-play competition between Ghyll Golf Club Seniors and a team of retired police officers representing NARPO.
The weather was excellent, and players enjoyed a fantastic social atmosphere filled with friendly banter, great food, and post-match drinks.
The Bandits retained the trophy with a decisive 7-2 victory. No question who the real bandits were!
Cops’ Captain Dave Bowness presented the trophy, donated by NARPO, to Bandits Captain Mark Stapley.
