Welsh Women’s Team Championship
Aberdovey Lose in Semi Finals
Unfortunately, our women’s scratch team were narrowly beaten by Pyle & Kenfig GC in the semi-final of the Welsh Women’s Team Championships at St Mellons Golf Club yesterday.
It was a very close contest, with Aberdovey going down 3–2 and the result coming down to the final match. It was a great effort from the whole team to reach the semi-finals, following excellent wins against Pennard GC (3.5–1.5) and Southerndown (4.5–0.5) on day one.
Congratulations to Pyle & Kenfig, who went on to win the championship.
Well done and thank you to the team, their caddies and supporters - a very creditable run in the championship.
