Suspension of Temporary Local Rule
As the geese that were populating the course seem to have left for pastures new the Temporary Local Rule (Model Local Rule F-12) has been removed forthwith, and golfers need to proceed under the following rule:
Under the official Rules of Golf, animal droppings are classified as LOOSE IMPEDIMENTS (Rule 15.1).
This means you do NOT receive an automatic free drop if your balls lands near or on them. However, you are allowed to remove the droppings without penalty, provided your ball does NOT move in the process.
