An impressive 165 players took part in the 2026 Balmore Senior Gents Open. The weather was damp and at times a bit miserable but the many visitors routinely commented on the fantastic condition of the course. Local member, Mike Shand, was the Overall Winner of the Balmore Senior Open with an excellent nett score of 63, winning with a better last 6 holes. Overall Runner Up was Douglas Gorman from Windyhill who also scored a nett 63. David McCluskey’s (Lochwinoch) gross 69 also proved to be the best scratch score on the day.
