The last 2 weeks saw a continuous 12-day programme from our teams, and we successfully installed all pipe, cable and sprinklers on Fairways 18, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12 and 65% of the 13th Fairway. This leaves the remainder of the 13th Fairway and Fairways 9 & 14 to complete, all of which have now been programmed into our forward schedule. In addition to the Fairways work, we also completed installation of the 12 Green and the landscape/highwear area to the right of the 12th. To put numbers to the above, to date we have installed 161 Fairway sprinklers, 4 Greens sprinklers, some 4100m of 63mm MDPE pipe and connections and 6,200m of control cable. Between now and 16th October we plan to install new pipe, cable and sprinklers on Greens 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, & 14, Green Tees on the 6 & 11 , the Darwin Tee on the 15 and various walkway runs. Hole closures will be kept to a minimum with introduction of winter/temporary greens on greens that are being worked on and forward Tees on tee complexes. However, please note it will be necessary for the 14th hole to be closed on 7th October and the 9th hole on 9th October.
