Congratulations to the winning trio of the Bobby Smith Tri-Am competition today - Kevin Brunton, Stewart Linford and Richard Boden scoring an impressive 63 to win by one shot from Tommy Connelly and Mark and Cameron Stanton who finished just one shot behind on 64 ahead of four teams tied on 65. In tough windy and cold conditions the winning trio were out in 34 securing net birdies at holes 4, 8 and 9, but it was their back nine form that secured the win with a further 5 birdies coming back in an impressive 29 shots. Special mention to Richard who secured five of the team's eight net birdies today including crucially at the final hole. Hard luck to Tommy, Mark and Cameron who also had a back nine of 29 which included 7 net birdies, but bogeys at holes 9 and 10 proved costly for them. Well done to all the teams competing in difficult conditions today and congratulations again to the winning threesome. M&H Team
