Seniors Knockout Result
Matchday event is closely contested
The Seniors’ Knockout was as ever closely fought and the final between John Wells and Cathy O’Keefe was no exception with John only prevailing by one hole in an intriguing up and down contest.
Both these players came through tough semi finals with Cathy defeating two time champion Dave Brooks and John overcoming in form Dave Walmsley. Having lost two finals in the past it seemed fitting that John finally got his hands on the coveted Matchplay trophy.
