Autumn Texas Scramble
Felt like it was Texas!
The early morning mist soon cleared as 36 intrepid golfers walked out for a shotgun start following the live draw for teams. The rest of the morning we were bathed in sunshine and some excellent golf was witnessed, albeit a few wayward balls onto Gordon's team to help chivy them along. In third place with gross 61 (net 48.7) were Nick Simmonds, Laxshman, Steve and Rick, in second with gross 62 (net 48.6) were Gordon, Heather, Mick Richardson & Ian McKenzie, and out in front with gross 60 (net 47.1), I'm pleased to say my team with Luke, Janet and Jackie Shea - 6 birdies and 1 eagle - an all round team effort.
Over £300 was raised for our amazing charities so thanks for everyone's support, next Scramble is November 1st. Please sign up or message me if you'd like to join in
