**COURSE MANAGER’S REPORT **
A very busy but productive 5 days as we had a mini maintenance week getting some important work done. I would like to thank all the members for their patience and allowing us to carry out the work. This week we managed to get done:
• Air 2 g 2 all greens at at depth of 9 inches
• Pro core all greens
• Apply turf hardener to greens
• Apply wetting agent and nutrients to all tees and aprons
• Apply wetting agent and nutrients to all greens
• Air 2 g 2 all greens to a depth of 6 inches
• Iron greens x2
• Cut greens
• Hollow core bare/worn areas on collars
• Top dress and brush collars
• Over seed, feed and water collars
• Pole saw work on low branches
• X2 holes cut on every green
• Full rake bunkers
• All tees divoted, bins emptied and ballwashers topped up
• All furniture and tee markers cleaned
• Practice area fertilized
• Greens sprinklers trimmed
• Rough cut where required.
Whilst the team have been busy with the maintenance, we have had a team of members installing irrigation to the 2nd apron and 3rd tees. The work they have carried out has been exceptional and their expertise and hard work has paid off. To have members like this who give up their free time for the good of the course is brilliant to witness. This project will be ongoing as we look to get the finer turf areas irrigated around the course. I would like to personally thank all those that helped organise this and all the volunteers for their efforts.
I’m off now for a much needed break. Ben will keep you updated on the work being carried out for the next 2 weeks.
Enjoy your weekend.
Dave.
